I never thought I’d say this but Gecko is announcing new Viet Nam themed kits faster than I can build them!
Tankette editor Robin has just sent me over not one, but two new items from Gecko.
The first is 35GM0118 1/35 Mini Shop In US Military Base (Vietnam War Era)
This kit contents parts for a soldier & dog figures, one US Military 8′ Storage Container & sandbag protection wall parts is included. This mini shop kit also includes the furniture and products for sale. One for our president, (who used to be a military storeman)?
and secondly, there is 35GM0117 U.S. M76 Amphibious Cargo Carrier ‘Otter’ (Late Production) which joins the Early Production version recently released. Gecko usually announce forthcoming products long before they actually go on sale. Their recently released US Navy PACV (‘hovercraft’ to most people) was announced over a year before it appeared in the shops, so don’t expect to see them just yet. Keep watching for updates from the UK importers, Tiger Hobbies over the coming months.
